I'm in San Diego!

Hello there everybody! I am in the San Diego Convention Center, typing on a grey office keyboard. I just have to say, I'm really enjoying this typing experience...it makes me feel as if I'm typing in a little lady's credit card number. 

Anyways, every year starting in 2023 my dad has been taking me to "Focus", LPL Financial's annual conference. It's a lot of fun. Last year, my mom texted my dad, "Take Simon to do something fun!!"...

My dad responded, "This is fun to him..."

Yesterday, I was surprised to find out we were riding not only in first class, but in the FRONT ROW!! We even got chicken enchiladas with a STRAWBERRY CHEESECAKE! Among the beautiful palm trees of San Diego, we called an Uber; it was a Mustang! "Goodness", I said, "this is just a comfort trip!!"

We unpacked everything at the Grand Hyatt (even though I own stock in Marriot...), and walked from the hotel to the expo in the convention center. We ate some shrimp (tiger lime, to be precise), talked with some people (all perfectly pleasant talk), and enjoyed the atmosphere of the expo. And boy, did cozying up in the hotel with a book feel nice!

Today has been even better!! We talked to more of my dad's acquaintances. We ate breakfast, I edited some marketing videos for my dad's business (a fun little side quest) and we went to some breakouts until 4 o'clock. After that, I came here to the computer, and we're heading back to the hotel to get ready for the dinner at Eddie V's downtown!! I'M REALLY EXCITED FOR THAT! I've definitely heard some good rumors about Eddie's!
