We’re candles, and God is the fire.
By themselves, candles can’t provide anything. They’re cold and never give out light.
It’s fire that gives them purpose. Fire provides them warmth, light, and even a nice fragrance. The candle is only the instrument. The fire is the heart.
We’re still candles without fire. But we’re lifeless candles.
The best way to make our candle taller is by praying daily, serving others, and reading the Bible.
Don’t be a candle sitting in the dark. Do what you’re meant to do. Be an instrument through which God can spread a light in this world.
