Self-control doesn’t come when you eat too little. It’s when you know enough is enough.
Take sugar, for example. How often do you feel like you need a little more sugar? How about too much?
It’s almost always one or the other—rarely just right. So what do you do?
Overshoot the target; stop just before it feels like enough. Often we realize too late that “enough” now turns into “too much” later.
