What I write here really doesn’t matter. In the vast universe, this is of inconceivably small importance.
Yet I sit here for an hour trying to perfectly rephrase, articulate, and get my point across.
In the grand scheme of things, literally nobody is going to see this post. I probably place an inordinate amount of importance in this blog.
But so do many people about so many things.
Our world places so much value on measurable metrics such as sports and IQ. These things are good, for sure, but the value we place in them can get out of hand.
It’s okay not to worry about…
Having the new shoes.
Being more in shape.
Getting better grades.
It’s okay not to worry.
In the 90’s, kids played rec sports for the love of the game. Now, we’re busy yelling at referees and gambling (yes, gambling on youth sports).
What happened to doing something because you enjoy it?
When God came to Earth, he wasn’t stuck up and self-important. He feasted. He danced. He laughed.
He was a person, too.
My point isn’t to be unprofessional or indifferent to your success.
My point is that you should
